Lame Ducks is a series of humorous paintings by Florida artist Kevin Grass featuring yellow rubber ducks. The ducks are used in literal meanings as puns or in plays on words. Rubber ducks have no gender and no race, so everyone can enjoy these images without feeling excluded. The paintings are meant to make you smile and enjoy a lighthearted side of contemporary art. They are painted with the same meticulous Northern Renaissance style detailing that I have become known for, yet show the smart-alecky side of my nature.
Lame Ducks original paintings come with a choice of black or gold frame and free shipping included in the continental United States. They are painted with Golden Open acrylic paints on artist's aluminum panels and two layers of varnish, making the artworks durable as well as a fun addition to your decor.
If you would like to commission an artwork for this series with a particular saying or pun, please email the artist at TheWisequacker @ hotmail.com or call the studio at 727-942-9020.
