Florida artist Kevin Grass illustrates "duck blind" as a game of hide-and-seek played by yellow rubber ducks.
A duck blind is a shelter, often camouflaged with reeds and grasses, for concealing duck hunters. The cloth with the camouflage pattern and the weathered pine board allude to the actual definition of the term. A more literal approach is taken in the main portion of the scene. The word blind is interpreted as window blinds that partially hide one of the ducks and the closest duck is “blinded” by the sleep mask. The act of hunting becomes a game of hide-and-seek in which one duck is “hunting” for the other.
